Parkside Banquet Hall, 525 13th St. Wellman
Are you interested in learning about how watersheds work and simple landscaping projects for your own backyard that can improve local streams and rivers?
The English River Watershed invites you to a free presentation and discussion with Kate Giannini, Washington County Soil Commissioner, on Thursday, July 17th, 6:30 PM, at Parkside Banquet Hall, 525 13th Street, Wellman.
Giannini will share info
rmation about watersheds, urban water quality and stormwater issues, and how simple projects like raingardens, permeable pavers, and landscaping with native plants can both beautify the landscape and benefit local waterways.
She will also share information about funding opportunities for home and business owners to use these practices, and getting more involved in soil and water conservation. Hope to see you there!
