Guest Presenter Carol Sweeting, with the City of Iowa City will be speaking about the Ralston Creek Watershed and conservation and water monitoring efforts that have occurred in the past and what the future will bring.

 

Johnson County Soil and Water Conservation District is sponsoring a pilot project in the Longfellow neighborhood.  The Community Meal Project (CMP) aims to promote dialogue within the community about urban conservation, local foods, and social and environmental impacts of food systems.

 

This Saturday, April 26th from 10AM-Noon there will be a walking tour of urban conservation practices that have been installed in the Longfellow neighborhood don't miss out! For more information click here.
